The Makita HR1840 Rotary SDS Plus Hammer Drill 240V is a compact, lightweight and powerful 470w hammer drill able to deliver up to 2100rpm and 4800bpm.

Compatible with SDS-Plus masonary drill bits this powerful compact masonary hammer drill is sutible for drilling and impact drilling.

It has a max drilling capacity of 18mm and drilling range of 4 - 10mm in concrete.

This rotary hammer drill has a torque limiter designed to automatically disengage the gears when the drill bit binds preventing damage to the drill.

The 2 x modes of operation this drill features are either rotation only or rotation with hammer, making the drill versatile & easy to operate on anything from wood to masonry. 

The Makita HR1840 Rotary SDS Plus Hammer Drill 240V is intended for use drilling in brick, concrete and stone with hammer active and is also suitable for drilling without impact in wood, metal, ceramic and plastic.

To use standard drill bits for drilling into wood, metal, ceramic and plastics then you require to use an SDS + Adapter & Chuck (Not Supplied).

To aid in drilling consistency the Makita HR1840 comes equipped with a depth gauge and a rubber coating on the handle which ensures a secure grip while working.

The sliding SDS + chuck makes drill bit changes a breeze and the reverse rotation system makes reversing out of drilling holes simple with 100% of the power available in both forward and reverse gears.
